Tamanu oil for skin

Our Tamanu oil for skin (aka Green Gold) is organic and cold-pressed from the seeds of the Tamanu tree found in Africa and other tropical regions. Tamanu is a luxurious oil with excellent skin moisturising benefits. It penetrates the deeper layers of the skin quickly and because of its excellent ultra-hydrating properties can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Research has also shown that Tamanu contains Calophyllolide, a neoflavonoid known to possess anti-inflammatory properties and a form of Vitamin E, including a number of rich antioxidants.

Tamanu oil for skin can help reduce hyperpigmentation whilst protecting skin from excessive UV damage, and has proven antimicrobial properties which help prevent acne.
